[Wines take time to make correctly, something Nikola is very well aware of seeing as some of the wines his family created needed to age ten or more years to taste just right.
Of course, there were ways to make quicker ones... and Nikola was still testing to see if he had the right conditions for some of the ones he was rather fond of..
And Yet, once he heard the lock getting messed with, he sighed and paused what he was doing before encasing the entire room into darkness. He knew for a fact it wouldn't harm his wines.
So, when the door opens, Ten is greeted with a wall of inky darkness and that same suffocating shadow as before while Nikola stands there beside a table with his arms crossed, just waiting to see what the other man will do. ]
