[He wasn't expecting the hug, but, he also wasn't protesting as he slipped his arms around her to hug her back.]

I'm glad you returned to me. Though, it's only been three days. How long has it been for you?

About a year or so.

[She lets him go to go wandering his apartment, picking up a random book and starting to flip through it. She grinned as she held up the book.]

The time machine, huh? Totally inaccurate to actual time travel you know. Now if you have a TARDIS like my dad or a vortex manipulator then time travel is a lot easier. Well, my vortex manipulator went up in flames but it was fun while it lasted. I think Noah had to point it out to me a few times.

[He watched her wander and then saw what book she picked up of his. The bookmark showed he was half way through the book at the moment and he was just thinking about that when what she said caught his attention.]

...Hold on. TARDIS? Vortex manipulator? Are you telling me that timetravel is real?

[He was looking a little skeptical.]

And who was Noah?

Of course it's real. I knew it was even before I left, though getting to experience it on my own terms was quite the adventure itself.

Oh, and Noah's a friend. He's been traveling with me. Has nothing in head though so we're trying to find out who he is and what he's all about. Quite clever but no grasp on sarcasm or jokes.

[He's still very skeptical about the time travel part and would question that more later... after he determined just what kind of friend this Noah was.]

A friend that was traveling with you? One who was clever and yet didn't know much.. that sounds like quite the contradiction.

[He paused for a moment..]

He was just a 'friend' correct?

[Oh look.. a tiny bit of jealousy rearing its head. He might want to be careful about that.]

[And Jenny didn't even miss a beat.]

With some benefits of course. But yeah, just a friend.

[Yep, definitely feeling a bit jealous.]

Oh you know, he gets to travel with me and go for adventures. Lots of running involved and he is quite the mystery with there being nothing in his head and all that. He doesn't remember who he is. Can you imagine not knowing who you are? But he's got all this knowledge about technology and doesn't even know how he knows it. Oh, but I'm the one who built the vortex manipulator.

[Okay,that does put him a little more at ease hearing that this Noah person wasn't more than just some mystery for her to solve. Hopefully, he wasn't reaping the same benefits Nikola was along the way to solving his mystery.]

Then that does sound like quite the adventure. I do hope Noah has his own sleeping quarters.

Of course he does, though I do keep having to remind him that he has to wear clothes.

[Nikola takes a moment to just process that particular statement..]

Come again? Why.. is he naked so often?

Well, when I first found Noah he didn't have any clothes on either because he was in suspended animation and I suppose because he doesn't really remember anything that he doesn't really understand the need for clothes either. He does try but he forgets quite a lot.

[Suspended Animation....? He wasn't sure what that meant but,he also really didn't like that this Noah was naked so often.]

...Just how often?

[As if it matters... Nikola shoves the jealous aside to try and focus for the moment.]

Regardless, I'm glad you're back.

Oh, I'd say at least once a day.

[She was actually enjoying making Nikola jealous.]

So am I, though I'll miss the adventures. I may try to go into the dream docks again at some point, but for now....Ow..

[She drifted of, holding her head. It had been hurting since leaving the docks, and now it was starting to finally get to her.]

I should probably rest. I've got quite the headache.

[If she was enjoying him being jealous, then she must be loving this.]

[Lets hope Nikola never meets Noah. ]

Then lets go lay down, I'm rather sure by myself and my bed have missed your company.

[She was indeed based off that amused smile.]

I'm sure you both have, but know I only intend to rest tonight.

[He figured judging by that smile.]

My dear, I don't always want sex from you. Your companionship is always welcomed even in my bed for rest and perhaps a little cuddling, if you so desire.

Now that I could do with. But first, I need a shower. Getting chased by a cyborg really takes it out of a girl.

[And yet more questions are raised...]

I can imagine, even if I don't exactly know what a cyborg is. You know where the shower is.. I shall be waiting for you in the bedroom if you like.

It's a being that's also part machine or robot.

[The simplest explanation she can give him.]

[At least she kept the explanation simple?]

Most of my shirts are large on you, so yes. I'll go get one for you and you already know where the towels are.

[With that she heads to grab a towel and gets hold of his shirt before heading towards the shower to bathe. It was nice to get a shower after being in nothing.]

[When she finished with the shower, he'd be waiting in bed wearing his own pj bottoms and shirtless as usual. Nikola was reading a book while he waited for her.

Honestly, he could be quite the bookworm when left to his own devices.]

[Once done, she dried off and put the oversized shirt on before stepping out of the bathroom toweling off her hair and headed towards the bedroom.]

[Nikola might be a little engrossed in the book he's reading by the time she entered the bedroom, this one about wine making. ]
